Magnet Coordinator
Greetings! My name is Elaine Bermudez, and I am excited to serve Narbonne High School as the Magnet Coordinator for STEAM and BETA. In this position, my goal is to enhance our magnet school by developing innovative programs to expand student opportunities while elevating academic achievement by all participants. Previously, I had the pleasure to serve as an Instructional Coach and educator at Narbonne High School. I was a science teacher in the STEAM Magnet, SAS and PSA Programs. Prior to that, I taught AP Chemistry, AP Biology, Forensic Science, Honors Chemistry, Honors Biology, Anatomy and Physiology. I enjoyed my time in the classroom, and I am proud to lead this program, along with our dedicated staff as we prepare our students to become college and career ready.
I have a Bachelor's degree from UC Irvine in Biological Sciences. I also have dual Master's degrees from Chapman University (Teaching) and CSU Dominguez Hills (School Leadership).
