SAGE Software and Gaming Education Academy

 

 

 

SAGE Academy is a three-year academy dedicated to preparing students for careers in software development, video game design and emerging esports career paths,  professions in growing demand with a variety of pathways for financial and personal success. 

Students in SAGE Academy receive special funding for a quality educational experience:

• Smaller class sizes
• Interdisciplinary studies for higher comprehension and engagement
• Teachers who work together to provide quality education
• Technology in every classroom
• Our own Esports video game set of laptops for competitions and team building
• Field trips every semester
• Partnerships with video game and software design companies, so we may stay in touch with current career expectations and opportunities
• Teambuilding opportunities to build friendships with your SAGE classmates

 

SAGE students will take eleven classes together:

10th grade: ELA 10, Geometry, World History, Intro to Computers

11th grade: ELA 11, Algebra 2, US History, Computer Programming

12th grade: ELA 12, Econ/Gov, Video Game Design (dual enrollment for college credit)

Students may join during sophomore year or at the start of junior year. No students may join after August of their junior year.
